NDO - On the occasion of Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum being appointed by King Norodom Sihamoni as the King's direct Supreme Advisor, on April 16, on behalf of the National Assembly, the Vietnamese people and on his own behalf, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue warmly sent a congratulatory letter.
In the letter, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue affirmed that this great honor not only demonstrates the King's trust and appreciation for Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum but also recognizes Samdech's important contributions to the country and people of Cambodia. Stating that for the National Assembly and people of Vietnam, Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum has always been a great and very close friend, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized: We always cherish and forever remember the sincere feelings and brotherly friendship that Samdech has given to the country and people of Vietnam. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his belief that relevant agencies will continue to actively implement the results and agreements reached during Samdech's official visit to Vietnam in October 2022 and his official visit to Cambodia in November 2022, contributing to further strengthening the relationship between the two countries as well as the cooperation between the two legislative bodies. The National Assembly Chairman expressed his belief that with his good feelings for Vietnam, regardless of his position, Samdech will continue to make positive contributions to the good neighborly relationship, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability between Vietnam and Cambodia, a special close relationship that has been painstakingly built and nurtured by generations of leaders and people of the two countries, including Samdech's enormous contributions. On the occasion of the traditional Chol Chhnam Thmay New Year, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue wished Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum good health and success.
