Opening of the thematic exhibition "President Ton Duc Thang's imprint in the Great Victory of Spring 1975" on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the death of President Ton Duc Thang (February 14, 1980

This morning, March 12, 2025, at the President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Site, the Opening Ceremony of the Special Exhibition "President Ton Duc Thang's Imprint in the Great Victory of Spring 1975" took place, organized by the Management Board of the President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Site in coordination with the War Remnants Museum. held on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the death of President Ton Duc Thang (February 14, 1980 - February 14, 2025 Lunar calendar) and towards celebrating the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The opening ceremony was attended by delegates and guests who are leaders of departments, agencies, and organizations of An Giang province, the coordinating unit of the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, the Oc Eo Cultural Relics Management Board, local leaders, officers and soldiers of Brigade 962, Artillery Brigade 6, and students from schools in My Hoa Hung commune.

With the theme " The Imprint of President Ton Duc Thang in the Great Victory of Spring 1975 ", introducing nearly 100 images and valuable historical documents, helping viewers have an overview of a period of arduous, long-term and heroic struggle against the US by the Vietnamese army and people on both the military, political and diplomatic fronts under the leadership of our Party, especially the extremely great significance of the victory in spring 1975 with the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, forcing the US imperialists and their puppet government to sit at the negotiating table at the Paris Agreement, ending the war in Vietnam. Especially the imprints of President Ton Duc Thang on the great victory day of the entire nation.

Through the exhibition, we also have an opportunity to review, remember, express deep gratitude, continue to study, cultivate, and practice following the shining moral example of Uncle Ton. Beloved, loyal communist, exemplary leader who served the country and the people all his life. Strengthening the education of communist ideals, patriotic and revolutionary traditions for Party members and people, especially the young generation, fostering pride and belief in the leadership of the Party and State in the renovation process, entering a new era, an era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
