The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) is calling on the community to join hands in voting for Vietnamese golf.

Tourists play golf and enjoy sightseeing at Trang An Golf Course, Nho Quan District, Ninh Binh Province.

Specifically, at the World Golf Awards 2024, Vietnam was nominated in both the categories of “Asia's Best Golf Destination 2024” and “World's Best Golf Destination 2024”. Each account can only vote once for each category, the voting deadline is October 6, 2024.

Then, each person clicks "Login" to access with the granted account; select "Vote", then select the award "Best Golf Destination in Asia", "Best Golf Destination in the World" 2024 and vote for Vietnam.

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism: Our country is considered an ideal golf paradise with diverse terrain, long coastline with famous beautiful beaches, hills, majestic landscapes, tropical climate, and year-round sunshine. These are favorable conditions for investing and developing golf courses and golf tourism.

In recent years, Vietnam has become an emerging golf destination attracting international tourists. Our country has been voted “Best Golf Destination in Asia” 7 times and “Best Golf Destination in the World” twice.

Vietnam has been chosen as the venue for many international professional tournaments, including the Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam 2023 Tournament. This is the first time a tournament within the framework of the European Legends Tour - a professional European Golf tournament - has taken place in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. The tournament has been marked on the world professional Golf map, thereby affirming the class of the golf course system and professional organization of Vietnam.

Vietnam's tourism development strategy to 2030 identifies golf tourism as a strength and is aiming to develop and exploit the potential of this important market.

Currently, the number of visitors to golf course locations is increasing rapidly. The cost of playing golf in Vietnam is also relatively competitive compared to other countries in the region. Most of the golf courses today are new with full equipment, infrastructure, modern and convenient facilities. The courses are built in unique areas, locations, and terrains, many of which were designed by world golf legends, including Greg Norman - Vietnam Tourism Ambassador. That shows that our country has enough potential, strengths and opportunities to develop golf tourism with beautiful natural landscapes, diverse mountainous terrain and a coastline of more than 3,200km.

Vietnam currently has nearly 100 golf courses in operation and will have about 200 golf courses in operation in the future.
