The new feature of the 2nd Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament - 2024 THACO Cup (TNSV THACO Cup 2024) is the first time the Southeast region qualifying round appears with many candidates willing to host, besides Long Dien district. The Southeast region qualifying round will take place from January 12 to 18, 2024 with the participation of 6 teams.

After the survey, the Organizing Committee was convinced by the facilities and enthusiasm of Long Dien district (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), where Bau Thanh football field has basic conditions to meet the competition.

To meet the requirements of the tournament under the VFF standard competition system, the leaders of Long Dien District People's Committee, in coordination with Thanh Nien Newspaper, urgently repaired and upgraded the field and functional rooms.

In recent days, nearly 10 professional staff have been mobilized to replace, level and re-roll the grass surface of Bau Thanh Stadium, especially the midfield area and in front of the two goals.

In particular, the local Organizing Committee has decided to renovate the goal frame to meet VFF standards, and also ensure that the field will be handed over in perfect condition and carefully preserved 2 weeks before the tournament starts.

At the same time, the main sponsor of the Southeast qualifying round, Hoang Trung Trading - Service - Investment Co., Ltd., has also upgraded and adjusted the functional rooms to ensure the requirements of VFF in organizing the matches.

Long Dien District People's Committee is speeding up preparations for the opening day of the Southeast region qualifying round of the THACO Cup 2024 football tournament, with the belief that it will coordinate with Thanh Nien Newspaper to organize other cultural and sports events in the future.
