Instructions for checking power outage schedules online

Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên22/05/2023

Check the power outage schedule on the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) website.

With just a smart device connected to the internet (phone, tablet, personal computer, etc.), users can access the websites of businesses under EVN to check the power outage schedule in their area.

The power outage schedule for each area is listed specifically on the website of EVN's subsidiary companies.

Currently, electricity supply is divided by region and is handled by different businesses under EVN, specifically as follows:

  • In Hanoi : Hanoi Power Corporation (website for information). Residents can access and view the power outage schedule for districts and communes in the city without needing to log in to an account.
  • In the northern region (excluding Hanoi): Northern Power Corporation (website for reference).
  • In Ho Chi Minh City : Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (website for information lookup), residents register and log in to their customer account to view information.
  • In the Southern region (excluding Ho Chi Minh City): Southern Power Corporation (website for reference).
  • In the Central region : Central Power Corporation (website for reference).

Search on the mobile/tablet app.

In addition to the website, users of smartphones can access the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) to find and download applications provided by power companies and install them on their devices. After downloading, users need to register (or log in if they already have one) an account and link their customer code to track power outage schedules based on their residential area.

The app names for each unit are the same on both platforms. Users can search specifically by living area, including EVNHANOI (Hanoi), EVNCPC Customer Service (Northern Vietnam, excluding Hanoi), EVNHCMC Customer Service (Ho Chi Minh City), EVNSPC Customer Service (Southern Vietnam, excluding Ho Chi Minh City), and EVNCPC Customer Service (Central Vietnam).

Besides the mobile application released by EVN, users can access the Zalo application and find the official account of the electricity service provider in their area to track power outage schedules and other contract-related information.
