On the evening of January 9, through his legal representative, singer Hung Huynh released relevant documents, proving that his MV "Chang the mat" did not plagiarize Jungkook's MV "Standing next to you" (member of BTS).
Specifically, Hung Huynh's lawyer said that the MV "Chang the mat" has been professionally appraised under number 01/2025/KLGD-TTGĐ by the Copyright Office Appraisal Center.

In Decision 08/QD-TTGĐ, the center concluded that the male singer's MV did not violate any copyright and related rights to Jungkook's MV "Standing next to you" as well as the rights to name, title, create derivative works, copy, publish, or protect the integrity of the work according to the current Intellectual Property Law and related regulations.
"We reserve all rights, including the right to denounce, sue and claim compensation for damages against acts of slander or false information affecting the legitimate rights and interests of artist Hung Huynh," the document stated.
As for Hung Huynh, he spoke up to thank fans for always trusting him and affirmed that the MV did not infringe copyright as previously accused by the online community.
The male singer hopes that the incident will be closed so he can focus on upcoming music products.
Currently, Hung Huynh's MV "Can't Close My Eyes" still cannot be found on YouTube.
