On August 30, the Park Hang-seo International Football Academy was officially launched, marking a new step in the development of youth football in Vietnam.
This academy was born from the passion of coach Park Hang-seo and his team of associates, with the goal of developing according to the school football model and for students aged 5 to 11 years old.
Speaking at the Academy's launch ceremony, coach Park Hang-seo said: "When working for the Vietnam national team, my mission and responsibility is to contribute to the development of Vietnamese football. I always try to find ways to respond to the love of the fans for me. This is the right time.
Football powers always promote the development of school football. In my opinion, professional and school football go hand in hand, compete and develop fairly. Hopefully this academy will open up new horizons, contributing to creating a solid foundation for the development of Vietnamese football in the future."

At the launch event, Dong Luc Sports Group also announced a strategic partnership, including providing training and travel apparel, competition gear and sports accessories, essential equipment for students and the academy's coaching staff and staff.
When asked about sticking with youth football instead of leading a football team/club, Mr. Park said: "After retiring as head coach of the Vietnam national team, many people asked me what I would do next. At that time, I said I would still work related to football.
After 4 months of leaving, I received many invitations to coach at other clubs in Southeast Asia. This may be a bit arrogant at this time, but in reality my ability has been proven in Southeast Asia, and coaching at clubs requires many factors for me to decide such as the assistant team, professional work...
After retiring, I always thought about how to repay the affection of the Vietnamese people, so I decided to stay here and focus on the youth football academy."
At the academy, coach Park Hang-seo does not directly coach on the field but only plays a supporting role in personnel and technical management. The person directly teaching the class is head coach Shin Jong-young.
In addition to school football activities, Mr. Park's academy also has specialized classes for talented young people with the ability and qualities to become professional players. The relationship between Mr. Park and his colleagues in his home country also helps the academy organize training programs and cooperate to send students to Korea and further to developed football countries in Europe...
