The commune has a natural forest cover rate of nearly 78%, which is one of the reasons why the commune's population density is 8 people/km2.

Previously, people's main source of income depended mainly on small-scale, fragmented farming and livestock farming.

To help people develop the economy and increase income, the locality has stepped up propaganda and mobilized people to actively change the structure of crops and livestock in accordance with the potential and advantages of the locality.

Mr. Ly Go Xe, Vice Chairman of Mu Ca Commune People's Committee, said: Up to now, the average income per capita of the commune has reached nearly 28 million VND. By the end of 2025, the commune strives to increase the income to over 30 million VND.

To achieve this goal, the commune propagates and mobilizes people to focus on developing the economy in the direction of goods; creating favorable conditions for people to access capital sources, knowledge, and experience in cultivation and animal husbandry.

From there, change the mindset, help people build economic models that bring high efficiency.
