HTV representative announces new news platform
The brand HTV NewZ was developed from the name HTV NEWS but with the last letter being "Z" instead of "S"; bringing about the association and concept of New generation of News.
According to journalist Cao Anh Minh, Party Secretary - General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Television: "This is an important step in restructuring the News page towards multi-platform news and converged media. In which, the News Center plays a leading role, coordinating with related units to make great efforts and with many innovations to form HTV's new news platform".
The HTV NewZ platform has the mission of spreading authentic news content from HTV's news program news, supplementing other detailed information through multimedia to bring digital audiences a visual and comprehensive perspective. To do this, the team of reporters at the News Center had to form the "go 1 and return 3" business, which means working 1 time to create 3 products; in addition, coordinating with the NewZ digital content department to produce and publish on other HTV digital platforms.
The new platform will be optimized for mobile devices.
Meanwhile, Multi-Form news content will fully optimize the advantages of diverse content reserves on HTV's digital platforms. The launch of NewZ - the first multi-form digital platform in Vietnam with approaches that closely follow the audio-visual trends of the times, will contribute to shaping people's inspiration to read and follow new news.
