(VLO) The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just signed a decision approving the investment policy and approving investors for two projects on transmission, distribution and supply of electricity in Tam Binh district; each project has an operating period of 50 years, starting from February 19, 2025. Thereby, it aims to strengthen the connection of the power system and meet the load demand in the project area and neighboring areas.
In which, the project to build a new 220kV Vinh Long 3 transformer station (capacity 500MVA) and the 220kV Vinh Long 3 - Vinh Long 2 - Tra Vinh line connecting to the transformer station in Hoa Thanh commune, invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi).
The project has a total investment capital of more than 433 billion VND, of which the investor contributes 30% of the total capital (equivalent to nearly 130 billion VND) and the rest is capital mobilized from credit institutions; the land area used is 3.9 hectares; implementation period is from 2024-2027.
Project to build 110kV transmission line to 220kV station Vinh Long 3 (transit to 110kV Phuoc Hoa - Binh Minh transmission line) with a length of 10.755km in the communes of Hoa Thanh, Hoa Hiep, Hoa Loc, Hau Loc, Phu Loc, Song Phu; invested by Southern Power Corporation - Limited (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
The project has a total investment capital of more than 72 billion VND, of which the investor contributes 27.27% of the total capital (equivalent to 19.7 billion VND) and the rest is capital mobilized from credit institutions; the land area used is 0.8 ha; and the implementation period is from 2024-2026.
