On July 4, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command (CHQS) held a military-political conference to evaluate the results of military and defense tasks in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2023. In the first 6 months of 2023, the Provincial Party Committee and Military Command thoroughly grasped the Resolutions, Directives and Orders on military and defense tasks of the Party Committee and the Military Region 4 Command and the practical tasks; advised the local Party Committee and authorities to lead and direct the effective implementation, many tasks were completed well and excellently. Strictly maintained the combat readiness regime, coordinated to maintain political security, social order and safety, creating a favorable environment for local socio-economic development. Advised and directed the preparation of the Defense Zone drill, the district-level Flood and Storm Prevention - Search and Rescue drill. The quality of training, regular construction, and discipline training have improved.
Party and political activities are maintained in a disciplined manner, with good quality, high internal solidarity and unity. Ensure adequate logistics, technology, and finance for tasks; effectively carry out military foreign affairs. Participate in competitions and sports events with good results. Build a strong Party organization in terms of politics, ideology, organization, and ethics, a strong agency and unit in all aspects, "exemplary models", ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks well.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Le Van Dien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, commended the agencies and units for successfully completing their tasks in the first 6 months of 2023. At the same time, he requested that in the last 6 months of 2023, the armed forces need to focus on a number of key tasks and policies and measures such as: Continuing to direct the preparation and successful organization of KVPT drills, PCLB-TKCN drills in districts, towns and cities in 2023; deploying military recruitment in 2024 and effectively implementing national defense and security education work according to plan. Strictly maintaining combat readiness, coordinating the implementation of Decree No. 03/2019/ND-CP and Decree No. 02/2020/ND-CP of the Government, grasping the local situation, handling situations well, not being passive or surprised; Organize the review of plans, forces, and means; proactively participate in preventing, combating, and responding to natural disasters, rescue, and relief; complete the training program content for subjects according to regulations.
