Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union has 2 new leaders

(NLĐ) - 100% of delegates present at the conference elected Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien to hold the position of President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union.

On the afternoon of February 21, the Conference of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union (HWU) for the 2021-2026 term took place.

At the conference, the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union elected additional personnel to join the Executive Committee and Standing Committee for the 2021-2026 term with 2 delegates: Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien - former Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Chi district and Ms. Tran Thi Huyen Thanh - former Deputy Chief of the Central Office of the Vietnam Women's Union.

As a result, 100% of delegates unanimously elected Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien and Ms. Tran Thi Huyen Thanh to join the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union for the 2021-2026 term.

The conference continued to elect Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien and Ms. Tran Thi Huyen Thanh to hold the positions of President and Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union.

With 100% of delegates present at the conference voting in agreement, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien was elected to hold the position of President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union; Ms. Tran Thi Huyen Thanh held the position of Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, congratulated Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien on holding the position of President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union and Ms. Tran Thi Huyen Thanh on holding the position of Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong said that in recent times, the female staff have been trained in practice, the working environment and have taken on many important responsibilities. He hopes that Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien and Ms. Tran Thi Huyen Thanh will continue to promote their experiences to continue working with the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union to carry out movements and activities well in the coming time.

Previously, on February 20, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee transferred Ms. Nguyen Tran Phuong Tran - Party Committee member, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union, and National Assembly delegate of the 15th term - to work at the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation.

On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee received and transferred Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Chi District - to work at the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union.
