Ms. Pham Duong (working in District 1) shared that she was working when she felt a slight vibration and furniture moving. Immediately, everyone scrambled to evacuate urgently.

"I work on the 15th floor of the building. When I felt the shaking, I quickly shouted for everyone to run down the stairs," said Ms. Duong.

Mr. Hoang Vien Trung, who lives in Kingdom 101 Apartment, To Hien Thanh Street, Ward 14, District 10, said he was in his 12th floor apartment when he felt the shaking. Immediately after that, he was informed by everyone to evacuate to the ground immediately.

"The first time I felt a strong shaking, my body swayed and I was a bit dizzy. At the same time, the door of my house shook slightly. Seeing everyone in the apartment building running away, I also ran down to the lobby. Not only my house shook, many apartments of the residents where I live also shook similarly," said Mr. Trung.

In Binh Duong , many people working and shopping in the Becamex building (Phu Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot city) felt the shaking. Immediately, everyone shouted to each other to run outside.

According to VietNamNet reporters , dozens of people gathered in the parking lot opposite the building, while others stood in the middle of the internal road without any obstacles to ensure safety.

In some commercial buildings and high-rise apartments in Thu Dau Mot City, people also felt the shaking, but the level was moderate and ended shortly after.

This is the first time in Binh Duong that people have witnessed this phenomenon, many people are quite scared and worried.

A representative of the Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center (Institute of Earth Sciences) said that at 1:20 p.m. on March 28, an earthquake occurred at coordinates 21.71N - 96.02E, with a focal depth of 10km, in Myanmar, affecting Vietnam. "The disaster risk level is level 0," the representative of the Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center informed.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) also just announced that a 7.7 magnitude earthquake just occurred in central Myanmar.

According to Bloomberg, the earthquake in Myanmar also caused far-reaching tremors, shaking buildings in Thailand and Vietnam.
