On the evening of October 9, in Ha Long City, the Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Investment & Startup Club of Quang Ninh province organized a meeting program on Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day, October 13, with the theme "Quang Ninh Entrepreneurs - Steadfastly overcoming the waves to reach far".
In the first 9 months of 2024, the Quang Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association has continuously innovated in thinking, methods, and ways of generating revenue. The Association has coordinated to organize many activities, meet members to exchange, connect, share, train, and support members; successfully coordinated to organize a series of events on the 2024 Private Economic Development Strategy, the Exhibition of Trade Promotion and Investment of Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs in Quang Ninh.
In particular, after storm No. 3, businesses faced many difficulties. However, with a resilient spirit, businesses did not retreat, tried to unite, sought innovative solutions, improved production processes, and connected with each other to overcome challenges.
Moreover, member businesses of the Young Entrepreneurs Association have supported charitable activities with an amount of more than 800 million VND.
In the past 9 months, Quang Ninh Investment & Startup Club has had many active activities to exchange, share and support members such as: Inauguration of the Foreign Talent Startup and Innovation Facility, connecting and promoting trade startups in the Eastern region; participating in displaying booths, introducing and promoting products, finding partners... Along with that, the members of the Club have donated 180 million VND to charity work.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that in recent times, Quang Ninh province has achieved many achievements in many fields. In addition to the leadership of the Party Committee and the government, these results have also been achieved thanks to the contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs of Quang Ninh. Quang Ninh province is committed to continuing to strongly reform administration, ensuring an open and fair investment environment for all businesses, implementing support programs for businesses recovering from natural disasters according to the Central's guidance at the maximum level; proactively proposing to the Central to amend, supplement, and promulgate support regulations and rules; and encouraging innovative startups.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Quang Ninh Investment & Startup Club to continue to promote their role as a bridge between enterprises and state agencies; create and foster a relationship of solidarity, cooperation and mutual support among enterprises; actively propose to the province in building and organizing the implementation of socio-economic development policies, mechanisms and policies related to enterprises, entrepreneurs and startups.
He hopes that with the spirit of entrepreneurship, creativity and courage, businesses and entrepreneurs will turn difficulties into opportunities to develop and rise higher, not only for themselves but also for the community and the future of Quang Ninh province.
On this occasion, Mr. Luu Cong Thanh, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association, was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister for his achievements in the young entrepreneurs movement, contributing to the economic and social development in Quang Ninh province.
Also at the meeting, the Quang Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Quang Ninh Investment & Startup Club organized an auction of valuable items to raise funds to support people affected by storm No. 3.
