The most meaningful gift that coach Kim Sang Sim brought home for his wife and children was the 2024 ASEAN Cup championship with the Vietnamese team . In his first time leading a national team, the achievement he just won with the "Golden Star Warriors" was beyond the expectations of the Korean strategist. In fact, coach Kim Sang Sik initially thought that the Vietnamese team reaching the final was a success. "Winning the championship with Jeonbuk in the Korean tournament was a great thing. But winning the 2024 ASEAN Cup with the Vietnamese team was the best thing in my life," coach Kim Sang Sik affirmed. Regarding his upcoming plans, after resting with his family, coach Kim Sang Sik will return to work. In 2025, Mr. Kim's two most important tasks are to join the Vietnamese team in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup and embark on the journey to reclaim the SEA Games gold medal in Thailand.

"Our goal is to qualify for the 2027 Asian Cup and win the 33rd SEA Games. To complete this task, I have planned to attend upcoming matches to find new players for the national team. Winning the 2024 ASEAN Cup is just a moment. To overcome a higher mountain, to achieve new achievements requires everyone to make efforts and be well prepared," said coach Kim Sang Sik. After returning home, coach Kim Sang Sik revealed that on his upcoming return to Vietnam, he might bring his wife and children to experience the Lunar New Year for the first time.
