The 2024 Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Sports Festival - a useful playground for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers has ended with many successes from organization, management to scale and professional quality... The success of the sports festival also contributed to strengthening solidarity and cohesion among grassroots party organizations; creating a positive effect for the development of the sports movement in agencies, units and enterprises.

Meeting us right after the final match of the men's doubles under 45 years old, badminton, athlete Tran Van Duy (Provincial Customs Department) happily said: "In the final match, athlete Phan Bao and I faced many difficulties against the pair of athletes Cao Chi Anh-Tran Bach Vu of Quang Tri Electricity Company.
However, with great determination, we successfully came back from behind with a score of 2-1 after 3 sets to win the Gold Medal (HCV)”. Considered a typical player and having achieved many successes in badminton tournaments in Quang Tri, athlete Tran Van Duy and his teammates had to spend a lot of effort to overcome strong opponents to conquer the Gold Medal.
Other competitions in badminton, tennis and volleyball were also exciting and attractive; highly appreciated in terms of professional quality and professionalism in organizing and managing the competitions.

As an activity deployed right from the first days of the new year 2024, the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Sports Festival received attention, consensus and positive response from Party committees, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers.
The grassroots party organizations quickly implemented plans, selected athletes who were outstanding factors in the sports movement at the unit, linked with other units to form teams, actively organized training, and registered to participate in the sports festival. According to the reporter's records, many units have invested in training; implemented exchange activities before the sports festival...
The athletes are cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers of different ages and positions, but they all try their best to practice and compete for the flag and the colors of the country. It is the serious investment of the units and the determination of the athletes that have contributed to improving the quality of the sports festival in terms of expertise.
The 2024 Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Sports Festival officially kicked off from May 23-25 at 5 competition venues: Provincial Multi-purpose Gymnasium, Nguyen Hue Sports Gymnasium, Provincial Labor Federation Gymnasium, Quang Tri Electricity Company tennis court and Quang Tri Petroleum Company tennis court; gathering 558 athletes from 49 grassroots party organizations, competing in 3 sports: tennis, badminton and volleyball.
The sports festival is part of a series of emulation activities to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the unification of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises on July 1 (2019-2024). What is noteworthy about the sports festival is that the athletes always strive to overcome all difficulties, clearly demonstrating the noble sportsmanship and the beauty of sports culture. The sports festival also attracted a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to cheer enthusiastically, giving the athletes more strength to compete better, leaving many impressive moments.
Promote the development of sports movement
Deputy Director and Chairman of the Trade Union of Quang Tri Power Company, Tran Quang Dong, said: "At the 2024 Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Sports Festival, the Quang Tri Power Company sports delegation participated in all sports and hosted the tennis event.
The company identified this as an important occasion for staff to meet, exchange and compete, and also an opportunity to re-evaluate the quality of the sports movement in Quang Tri Power Company. It was early recognized that this year's sports festival would gather strong teams with good athletes, so the company had made careful preparations in all aspects. At the end of the sports festival, the Quang Tri Power Company delegation ranked 2nd overall.

Over the years, Quang Tri Power Company has always paid attention to the development of the sports movement, especially investing in facilities with 5 tennis courts, 1 mini soccer field, 2 volleyball courts, 5 table tennis tables, 2 billiard tables; the movement of tennis, soccer, badminton, jogging... has developed, attracting a large number of leaders, officers and employees to participate in training and improve their health. The success of the 2024 sports festival is the motivation for Quang Tri Power Company to continue to pay attention to further improving the quality of training and sports competition achievements.
At the end of the sports festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the first, second and third prizes to the delegations: Quang Tri Telecommunications Party Committee, Quang Tri Electricity Company Party Committee, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Party Committee; awarded the first, second and third prizes to the volleyball teams and tennis and badminton pairs with high achievements in the three sports; awarded the individual prizes: excellent attacker, excellent setter, excellent all-round athlete in volleyball.
According to Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Sports Festival Do Thi Ly said: the success of the sports festival has greatly impacted the development of the sports movement in the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises.
It is recommended that agencies, units and enterprises continue to pay attention to and create conditions to maintain and develop the sports movement, improve the spiritual life and health of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers; at the same time, strengthen the spirit of solidarity, exchange and mutual learning between grassroots party organizations, contributing to the completion of political tasks, production and business and Party building work of each agency, unit and enterprise.
