Recently, in order to complete production and business goals, Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) has promoted labor and production emulation movements. Many emulation movements are creating widespread influence, promoting TKV to complete production and business goals, maintain important pillars, and ensure national energy security.

On November 15, 1968, Uncle Ho met and talked with a delegation of workers and officials of the coal industry at the Presidential Palace. This was a historical event that left an unforgettable mark on the workers and officials of the coal industry in particular and the working class of Quang Ninh in general. At the meeting, Uncle Ho advised: “The coal industry is like the army fighting the enemy. All workers and officials must have a very high revolutionary enthusiasm and patriotism, a strong will to fight and win, must be united, overcome all difficulties for a common goal of producing a lot of coal for the Fatherland”.
Taking to heart Uncle Ho's teachings, generations of miners have promoted the tradition of "Discipline and Unity" and enthusiastically competed in combat and production, contributing to the sustainable development of the coal production front. Through emulation movements, many positive factors and shining examples in production have been discovered, nurtured and honored. They have become important factors helping the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) promote emulation and complete production and business goals.
Miner Le Van Bien, Mining Workshop 7 (Thong Nhat Coal Company - TKV) is a typical example in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. For nearly 20 years in the profession, Mr. Bien has always been dedicated, researching and learning to understand and promptly grasp difficulties, find solutions to overcome difficulties, increase labor productivity and ensure safety. For many years, miner Le Van Bien has achieved the title of "Creative Miner" of the TKV Trade Union, the Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and an advanced model of TKV... Notably, in 2023, miner Le Van Bien was honored to be one of 167 outstanding individuals nationwide to be honored with the 4th Nguyen Duc Canh Award by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Miner Le Van Bien shared: The nature of the mining profession is quite hard and arduous work, often facing difficulties and challenges, requiring workers to have enthusiasm, good physical strength and endurance. However, no matter what the circumstances, the more difficult it is, the more we strive to compete. Realizing Uncle Ho's teachings to coal workers in the past, currently our production teams and groups are striving to compete to learn and follow Uncle Ho's example. emulation movements for good workers, creative workers ... These emulation movements really create an increasingly enthusiastic working and production atmosphere in groups and teams, promptly motivating and encouraging workers to overcome difficulties and complete tasks.

Identifying workers as the center and nucleus of the production and business emulation movement, in recent times, TKV has linked the launching of production and labor emulation with continuing to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Up to now, TKV has built typical advanced factors as direct workers, such as worker Le Van Bien, Thong Nhat Coal Company, who was awarded the Nguyen Duc Canh Award; worker Nguyen Trong Thai, Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company, who was awarded the Labor Hero title by the President in the renovation period...
Currently, many emulation movements of the Coal industry have created a unique identity, a premise to help the Group develop sustainably, thereby contributing significantly to the exciting emulation atmosphere of the whole country. Notably, according to each stage and production and business task, the emulation movement is flexibly organized by the Group to launch goals such as "Safety - Innovation - Development".
The emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers" has contributed to increasing labor productivity, saving costs, reducing product prices, improving safety, and improving working conditions for workers. The number of coal miners in the coal industry with an income of over 300 million VND/person/year is increasing day by day. In 2023 alone, the Group had more than 9,000 miners with an income of over 300 million VND/year. Mr. Le Thanh Xuan, Chairman of the Vietnam Coal and Minerals Trade Union, said: To continue implementing Uncle Ho's advice "Produce a lot of coal for the Fatherland", in the coming time, the TKV Trade Union will continue to take good care of and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; spread many examples, typical individuals and groups, many initiatives, creative models, good ways of doing things to contribute to the completion of assigned tasks.
The Union will stand side by side with the Group, ensuring jobs, stabilizing life and income for workers. Along with that, it will launch many emulation movements, especially the emulation movement "Creativity - Productivity - High income" to create motivation and goals for cadres and workers.
