On the occasion of preparing to welcome the New Year of At Ty, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung sent wishes of good health, peace and prosperity to village elders and prestigious people in the three mountainous communes of Hiep Duc district: Song Tra, Phuoc Tra, Phuoc Gia.

Comrade Le Van Dung emphasized the important position and role of village elders and prestigious people in implementing the patriotic emulation movement, building the great national unity bloc, and developing the socio-economy of Hiep Duc district in general and the three highland communes in particular.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung said that, besides the achieved results, the lives of people in the three highland communes of Hiep Duc still face many difficulties. The poverty rate is still high, approximately 20%, deforestation cases still occur frequently, and national target programs have not achieved the set results...

From those results and limitations, comrade Le Van Dung suggested that village elders and prestigious people should actively try to propagate and mobilize people to promote the heroic revolutionary tradition, well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State to build a prosperous life for themselves and contribute to social development.

In particular, comrade Le Van Dung hopes that in the coming term (2025 - 2030), the poverty rate in the three highland communes of Hiep Duc district must be reduced to about 5%; at the same time, security and order must be maintained, deforestation must not occur, and the lives of the villagers must be peaceful and happy...
