GĐXH - From fragrant grilled fish from Na Hang Lake, rich smoked sausage, to colorful sticky rice, each dish is the crystallization of local ingredients, skillful hands and the hospitality of the ethnic people here.
The 2025 Na Hang Ethnic Highlands Culinary Competition took place from March 7 to March 16, 2025. Each day, 4 to 15 teams will participate in performing and preparing dishes, creating a diverse and rich culinary space.
This year, the competition attracted 134 teams, including 114 teams representing people from villages and residential groups in the district and 20 teams representing union members, workers and civil servants of grassroots unions under the District Labor Federation. In this competition, chefs and local people will introduce traditional dishes and promote the rich culture of the ethnic identity of the Na Hang highlands to visitors from all over.
Unlike the traditional lowland feasts, the feasts of the Tay, Dao, and Mong people in Na Hang bear the mark of the mountains and forests, with ingredients exploited from nature such as Na Hang lake fish, native black pigs, wild vegetables, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and typical spices.
