DNVN - Responding to the call of the leaders of the Ministry of Health, the Vietnam Health Trade Union and central agencies, FPT Long Chau and the Health and Life newspaper joined hands to support the people in the North affected by floods.
On September 15, Ms. Nguyen Do Quyen - CEO of FPT Retail and CEO of FPT Long Chau presented 500 million VND and 2 tons of medicine to representatives of the Health and Life newspaper. This amount of medicine is part of the plan to mobilize 10 tons of medicine, equivalent to 2.5 billion VND, to support the northern provinces that are seriously affected by storms and floods.

Ms. Nguyen Do Quyen - CEO of FPT Long Chau said, following the flood situation in recent days, FPT Long Chau is extremely saddened and heartbroken by the difficulties that the people of the North are going through. FPT Long Chau hopes that the activities that have been, are being and will be implemented will add motivation and strength to help people firmly overcome the difficulties of the storm and flood season, soon stabilize and rebuild their lives.
On the same day, FPT Long Chau donated 1 ton of essential medicine to help flood victims in Yen Bai. The donation ceremony was attended by Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health, Deputy Minister of Health; Ms. Le Thi Hong Van, Director of the Yen Bai Department of Health.
According to the plan, this contribution will be given directly to the flood victims in Viet Thanh commune, Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province in the first phase on September 15. In the second phase, the volunteer group will continue to visit the flood victims in Bac Giang and Lang Son provinces on September 16.
The third phase, the delegation will arrive in Tuyen Quang province on September 18. This is also an effort by FPT Long Chau to support people in taking care of their health and dealing with potential diseases during the flood season.
