Chairman of the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union Trinh To Tam said that in recent years, people in the capital have received better health care; population growth has been controlled; policies, strategies, programs and plans related to health have received attention, investment and have had positive effects in social life.
The Hanoi health sector has focused on directing the improvement of the quality of medical examination and treatment (KCB), especially the breakthrough steps in implementing the Government's Project 06 on digital transformation in medical facilities.
The work of managing health economy, implementing plans and granting autonomy to units has initially achieved positive results. Many high-level, high-quality techniques and services in the field of medical examination and treatment have been successfully deployed.
Not only focusing on professional development, Hanoi's health sector also promotes innovation in the style and attitude of medical staff serving patients.
Through the survey and assessment of patient satisfaction by the Ministry of Health at hospitals under the Hanoi health sector, the results showed that over 80% of patients and their families were satisfied with the spirit and service attitude of medical staff.
On this occasion, the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union commended and honored 227 outstanding health sector officials in the capital with outstanding achievements in emulation movements in 2024. Including the movement "Innovating the style and service attitude of health workers towards patient satisfaction".
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Union Pham Quang Thanh congratulated 227 individuals who are People's Doctors, Meritorious Doctors and outstanding medical staff representing over 28,000 union members, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the capital's health sector who were honored by the Hanoi Health Union.
According to the Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation, in recent years, the capital's health sector has synchronously deployed tasks and solutions to improve the quality of medical work and health care for the people. Up to now, the city has achieved the national criteria for commune health care at 98.9% (573/579 communes, wards and towns) according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health; reaching a rate of 16.3 doctors/10,000 people and a hospital bed rate of 37.4 beds/10,000 people.
The work of protecting and taking care of people's health in the city has received attention and focus. The health insurance coverage rate has always been high compared to the whole country, averaging over 95% in recent years. The quality of medical examination and treatment and rehabilitation for people has been increasingly improved.
City and district hospitals are increasingly affirming the quality of care and medical examination and treatment services for patients. Many new, specialized and complex medical techniques have been successfully implemented…, contributing to reducing costs and improving patient satisfaction.
The emulation movement "Innovating the service style and attitude of medical staff towards patient satisfaction" associated with continuing to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has been widely deployed and spread throughout the industry.
Recently, the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union and many hospitals in the city have coordinated with the City Labor Federation to effectively organize medical examination, consultation, and medicine provision activities for workers in industrial and export processing zones during Workers' Month... These are meaningful and practical activities of the capital's health sector for union members and workers.
At the conference, the Hanoi Health Trade Union launched an emulation movement to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025).
