In the first 9 months of 2024, the Provincial Customs Department has closely followed the directions and operations of the Government, ministries, branches and the province on socio-economic development. Currently, many targets have been achieved and exceeded the set plan.

According to the report of the Provincial Customs Department, as of September 20, units have carried out customs procedures through the VNACCS/VCIS System (automatic customs clearance) for nearly 99,600 declarations of 1,668 enterprises, with a total import-export turnover of 13.4 billion USD (34% in declarations, an increase of 332 enterprises, an increase of 21% in turnover compared to the same period last year).
The above positive results have brought the State budget revenue of the Provincial Customs Department to VND 13,456 billion (an increase of 10% over the same period in 2023, exceeding 8% of the target assigned by the Government of VND 12,500 billion; exceeding 4% of the target assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Council of VND 13,000 billion; reaching 81% of the target assigned by the Provincial People's Committee of VND 16,600 billion). Positive breakthroughs in State budget collection have helped the Provincial Customs Department continue to maintain its position as one of the 10 units with the highest State budget revenue in the entire Customs sector.
Promoting the achieved results, in the last months of the year, the Provincial Customs Department will continue to make changes in improving the investment and business environment, enhancing competitiveness; at the same time, proactively contact and meet businesses right after Typhoon Yagi (Typhoon No. 3) to grasp information about the storm's impact on businesses and support and accompany businesses to resolve problems or propose recommendations to competent authorities to remove difficulties for businesses.
