On October 17, 2023, two Vietnamese scientists, Hoang Thi Giang, PhD, researcher at the Vietnam Agricultural Genetics Institute, and Tran Quang Hoa, Deputy Head of the Mathematics Department, Hue University of Education, were honored to receive the French Academy's award for "Efforts for bilateral scientific cooperation between France and ASEAN countries."
These awards are intended to honor experienced scientists or support young researchers at the beginning of their careers, particularly in the fields of basic and applied science.
The international award is presented annually by the French Academy of Sciences to honor scientific cooperation between France and other countries and international organizations.
The fact that two Vietnamese scientists received this prestigious award contributes to further promoting bilateral scientific cooperation models.
