The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province requested departments, branches and localities to continue to effectively organize the movement "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho", mobilize all people to participate in tree planting, creating a widespread movement.
In order to promote the effective implementation of the Project "Planting one billion trees in the period of 2021-2025", the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document requesting departments, branches, localities, and forest owners to synchronously implement many related solutions. In particular, many tasks need to be proactively planned early, thereby focusing on achieving the required results in the coming time.
Taking advantage of favorable weather, people of Group 7, Kinh Nam village, Thach Hung commune (Ha Tinh city) organized tree planting along the routes.
Pursuant to Decision No. 524/QD-TTg dated April 1, 2021 of the Prime Minister, on November 24, 2022, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 459/KH-UBND on implementing the Project "Planting one billion trees in the period 2021 - 2025".
To continue to effectively implement the project in the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee requests the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, localities and units to continue to effectively implement the plan to implement the Project "Planting one billion trees in the period of 2021-2025" in the province. In particular, continue to effectively implement the movement "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" in the spirit of the Central Government's direction; direct and guide localities to plant trees in concentrated areas in protective and special-use forests, plant new production forests, and plant scattered trees in rural areas.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance to advise and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to allocate funds for afforestation and tree planting according to the plan targets; organize inspection, supervision and urge the implementation of the plan by localities; act as the focal agency, coordinate with relevant units to urge, monitor, guide and implement the plan.

The Provincial People's Committee requests districts, cities and towns, based on the targets and plans assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, to direct focal agencies to coordinate with relevant departments, offices and units to review land funds for planting protective forests, special-use forests, land for planting new production forests, land planned for planting urban trees, land for developing scattered green trees in rural areas; develop annual plans for planting forests and scattered green trees and the entire period up to 2025.
Districts, cities and towns allocate budget capital, integrate programs and projects and mobilize socialized capital to implement local tree planting plans, ensuring completion and exceeding the plan targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.
Require districts, cities and towns to assign targets for implementing annual tree planting plans to communes, wards, towns, agencies, units and each residential area. Ensure that land areas subject to tree planting must have specific and clear management. Create conditions for agencies, organizations, unions, schools, armed forces and all classes of people to actively participate in tree planting and afforestation.
Continue to effectively organize and implement the movement "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho", combine with promoting other emulation movements to call on and mobilize all people to participate in tree planting and afforestation, creating a regular and continuous movement.
Forest owners are organizations that focus on reviewing the planning and land use plans of the unit and based on the targets and tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to develop implementation plans. At the same time, proactively mobilize and integrate capital sources to organize implementation, ensuring completion and exceeding assigned targets and plans.
