Ha Tinh trains to improve press dialogue skills for spokespersons

Attending the conference were more than 200 delegates, including leaders and chiefs of offices of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of units and localities at district and commune levels.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Director of the Department of Information and Communications Dau Tung Lam said the important role and significance of press information for the development of localities and units.

In order to proactively provide information to the press when necessary, avoid information crises, contribute to social stability, and create conditions for socio-economic development in general, training in speaking and providing information to the press is a content that needs attention and implementation.

The Director of the Department of Information and Communications suggested that delegates, in addition to focusing on listening and absorbing skills and knowledge, should frankly discuss contents from practical tasks to better serve the work of speaking and providing information to the press.

The conference is a meaningful activity to help leaders and press spokespeople of agencies, units and localities grasp the skills of speaking and providing information.
