Hanoi gives 28,000 gifts to people visiting Uncle Ho's mausoleum on National Day

On this day, Hanoi Department of Tourism coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board to give away 28,000 gifts to tourists visiting the Mausoleum.

The small gift bags became meaningful and warm spiritual gifts sent to every citizen and international visitor visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum during this year's holiday. From early morning, drinks and cakes were promptly transported to the gathering location by officers, employees and soldiers of the Hanoi Department of Tourism and the Mausoleum Management Board.

Veteran Do Dinh Anh in Thanh Oai district shared that every year, on National Day September 2, veterans will bring their families to visit Uncle Ho's mausoleum, thereby wanting the younger generation to feel grateful for his contributions. Therefore, he was very impressed with the annual gift-giving activity here organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board. "We are very touched by the thoughtfulness of the units" - Veteran Do Dinh Anh expressed.

This is not the first time the Hanoi Department of Tourism has given gifts to people and tourists visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum during major national holidays. Since 2018, the Hanoi Department of Tourism has coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board to give gifts to people and tourists visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which has become an annual activity to support people and tourists during major holidays.

In 2024, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will give away 80,000 gifts including 1 bottle of water and 1 loaf of bread or 1 carton of milk and 1 loaf of bread to visitors visiting Uncle Ho's Mausoleum on major holidays such as Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day (April 30); International Labor Day (May 1); President Ho Chi Minh's Birthday (May 19) and National Day (September 2).

Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Tran Trung Hieu said that this is a meaningful activity of Hanoi Department of Tourism and the Mausoleum Management Board, demonstrating the affection and responsibility in the service, reception and propaganda work of each officer, employee and soldier on duty at Uncle Ho's Mausoleum.

This will contribute to promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. At the same time, this activity will also promote the political and cultural significance of the Mausoleum and promote the image of the capital's tourism to the people and visitors.

The Hanoi tourism industry giving gifts to visitors to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum during major holidays is an act expressing the affection of Hanoians towards the people of the whole country and visitors to the capital. This activity also aims to promote and advertise tourist destinations, contributing to continuing to build the image of Hanoi as a "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive" destination.
