Speaking at the program "Career Counseling Dialogue 2025" held on March 29, journalist Ngo Vuong Tuan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper said: career guidance and admission counseling activities are of special importance to high school students and the whole society, contributing to providing human resources with appropriate structure.
Early career guidance helps students have time to prepare mentally, knowledge and learn deeply about the profession; thereby having the right perception about the profession, choosing a career that suits them and the needs of society.
“With the desire to become a companion of students in the capital during the career selection and future development period, Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper will strive with other accompanying units to bring students truly useful and effective knowledge so that they can stand firm before one of the important moments of their lives,” emphasized journalist Ngo Vuong Tuan.
The program "Career Counseling Dialogue 2025" is the first activity in a series of career counseling programs organized by Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper in coordination with other organizations to promptly provide high school students with useful and practical information about majors; advise them on how to choose a school and a career.
At the program, experts provided students with the latest information and notes on university admissions and admissions in 2025; and answered students' questions about admissions and career choices.
Educational institutions also introduce to students the school's enrollment plan, admission criteria, tuition fees, and training majors.
In addition, many attractive activities took place at the festival such as: cultural exchange, games... not only creating a joyful atmosphere for the festival, but also helping students participating in the program have the most realistic and clear view of the educational path and career they want to pursue.
It is known that in April 2025, career counseling and orientation activities will continue to be coordinated by Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper and other units at high schools in Ha Dong district, Thanh Tri district, and Dan Phuong district.
Answering concerns about admission methods and ways to optimize the chances of being admitted to prestigious universities, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thu Huong - Deputy Head of the Department of Psychology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi said: the registration method for university admission in 2025 remains stable as last year. However, this year, all high school transcripts, high school graduation exam scores and individual exam results of candidates will be uploaded to the system and considered for admission in one round.
Candidates can register for majors and schools according to their needs at both college and university levels. They can make the most of their results, in any way, to set their wishes.
When choosing a school and major, you must base it on your own abilities and strengths; along with that, you must set goals and have perseverance and effort to achieve your goals.
