Gumball Grid and a series of community activities dedicated to Vietnam The highlight of the event is the opening of Gumball Grid - dubbed "the most expensive parking lot in the world" from 10am on Saturday, September 14, 2024. The central street of Le Loi (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) will become the stage for 100 supercars, many of which are rare and unique in the world, symbols of technology, design and culture. The owners of the participating cars are prominent and influential names from more than 40 countries - from music stars, famous artists, royals, sports stars, gamers, YouTubers, businessmen and many influential people such as Maximillion Cooper (British founder of the Gumball 3000 event), supercar YouTuber James Walker. 
Many familiar names to the Vietnamese public such as Manchester United and French football legend Patrice Evra will appear with the Rolls Royce Cullinan super luxury car. Australian YouTubers Lazarbeam, Lachlan Power and British YouTuber Sidemen Vikkstar will drive a Land Rover Defender; American YouTuber DailyDrivenExotics (DDE) will appear with a Lamborghini SVJ... Gumball Grid activities will be held free of charge for Vietnamese fans throughout September 14, 2024. Next, Gumball 3000 will have an intimate 25th anniversary ceremony and charity fundraising (organized exclusively for Gumball journey members) in the grounds of Reunification Hall - Independence Palace. In addition, Gumball 3000 also sends its deepest sympathy and condolences to the people affected by the natural disasters taking place in Northern Vietnam, and announced that it will launch a fundraising campaign (for Gumball 3000 members and those interested in the journey worldwide) to support Vietnam in its relief efforts and flood recovery. At 11am on Sunday (September 15, 2024), the Gumball 3000 - Saigon to Singapore journey will officially begin after the flag-raising ceremony, entering the first leg from Le Loi Boulevard to explore the famous Cu Chi tunnels. On the same day, the group will move to Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and continue the following routes to Angkor Wat (Cambodia) - Bangkok, Krabi (Thailand) - Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and end the journey in Singapore on September 21, 2024, following the global event F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2024 held at that time (September 20-22, 2024). For the first time, Vietnam was chosen as the gathering point for the Gumball 3000 journey. As the starting point of the Gumball 3000 - Saigon to Singapore journey, Vietnam is the most important gathering place on the entire route. The Gumball 3000 logistics team in Vietnam has been busy for many months ensuring optimal facilities for the fleet of vehicles - which have very high requirements for care. 
The interior and exterior preparation of each car is also entrusted to units in Vietnam in coordination with a team from Malaysia. Some of these supercars have been completely refinished (wrapped) by a Vietnamese team according to orders from foreign car owners, with quality not inferior to famous car wrapping companies in the world. 
With 120 supercars, gathering drivers from more than 40 countries around the world, along with a media team, sponsors, etc., this Gumball 3000 - Saigon to Singapore journey gathered about 500 participants and was widely communicated to millions of car fans around the world.
