The first AI feature in the new update that Google equipped for Chrome is "browser tab grouping", which helps users reorganize open windows in the form of tabs. Chrome will automatically suggest and create groups for open tabs based on the content that users refer to.
Google said that using this feature is also quite simple: users just need to right-click on any open tab to display the options window, then select "Organize Similar Tabs", artificial intelligence will automatically find all open tabs with content on the same topic and group them into a combination, giving suggested names as well as emoticons for users to mark, convenient for the search process later.
Google Chrome will soon have more AI features to support users
Another AI "equipment" on Chrome will be a smart assistant to support users in the editing process. This feature is expected to bring confidence to users (at least in terms of spelling and writing style) when writing social media posts or composing emails. AI also helps complete a lot of writing because users just need to right-click on the editing box, select "Help Me Write" and enter some keywords, artificial intelligence will understand the intention and start its work.
The last feature seems less important than the two tools mentioned above, as this is just a utility that helps you create your own themes for use on Chrome. Like on Google's Pixel 8 phone, users can now create themes based on mood, color, art style... to "dress up Chrome in a new shirt" with just a few clicks on keywords suggested by the system.
The browser tab grouping and AI topic generation updates are expected to roll out globally in the coming days, while the AI-powered text editor won't be available until at least February.
Google said that this year, more AI and machine learning features will be added to Chrome. In particular, there will be the appearance of the latest artificial intelligence model called Gemini, which was announced by the company not long ago.
