Liam Payne dies at 31
The news that singer Liam Payne, a former member of the famous band One Direction, had passed away at the age of 31 shocked audiences around the world. The famous One Direction singer fell from a hotel balcony in Argentina on October 16 and did not survive.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of singer Liam Payne's accident. An autopsy will be performed soon.
Initial information said that the male singer fell from the balcony at 5:11 p.m. (local time). Due to the severity of his injuries, Liam Payne did not survive.
Liam Payne (who started his career when he participated in The X-Factor competition in 2010) along with Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson founded the group One Direction.
One Direction is famous worldwide and has become one of the most successful boy bands in music history. Liam Payne is the co-author of many of the group's hits such as: Midnight Memories, No Control, Steal My Girl, Night Changes.

After Zayn Malik left the group, One Direction disbanded. The members all pursued solo careers. Liam Payne has had much success. Liam Payne dated X Factor judge Cheryl Cole (formerly of Girls Aloud) in late 2015 and had their first son in 2017. They announced their split in July 2018 but still co-parent their son.
In 2020, Liam Payne got engaged to model Maya Henry but called it off a year later. They got engaged again and then broke up in May 2022. At the time of his death, the singer was dating Kate Cassidy.
