For passengers buying one-way tickets without using cash, the lowest fare is VND6,000 and the highest is VND19,000. For passengers buying a daily ticket, it is VND40,000, with no limit on the number of trips per day; a 3-day ticket is VND90,000, with no limit on the number of trips in 3 days. Regular passengers buying a monthly ticket is VND300,000, with no limit on the number of trips per month. The monthly ticket price for students is VND150,000. The above ticket price includes passenger insurance.
Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro is the first metro line built and put into operation in Ho Chi Minh City with a length of 19.7km connecting the center of District 1 with the eastern area such as Binh Thanh and Thu Duc city. In the beginning, Metro Line 1 operates from 5am to 10pm every day, the first trip departs at 5am and the last trip departs at 10pm with 9 trains. Each train carries a maximum of 930 passengers (including 147 seats and 783 standing seats) with an interval of 8-12 minutes/trip, the total number of trips per day is 200. Speed ​​110km/h (elevated section) and 80km/h (underground section).
