Based on the management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, businesses simultaneously adjusted gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. today (May 30).
Accordingly, the price of E5 gasoline decreased by 520 VND/liter, the selling price is 21,750 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline decreased by 700 VND, the selling price is 22,510 VND/liter.
Similarly, diesel price was adjusted down by 90 VND/liter, selling price at 19,740 VND/liter.
In the previous gasoline price adjustment period (May 23), gasoline prices were adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance in the direction of increasing gasoline prices, decreasing diesel prices while keeping kerosene prices unchanged.
Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline increased by 160 VND/liter, the selling price reached 22,270 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline increased by 80 VND, the selling price is 23,210 VND/liter.
On the other hand, diesel price was adjusted down by 40 VND/liter, selling price at 19,830 VND/liter. Kerosene price was kept at 19,900 VND/liter.

Similar to previous operating periods, in the operating period on May 23, the joint Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not allocate or spend from the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.
Currently, the petroleum price stabilization fund of some key enterprises still records a large positive level because in recent management periods, the fund has been rarely used.
As of May 23, Petrolimex recorded a positive fund balance of VND3,077 billion; Saigon Petro had a positive balance of VND327 billion; Petimex had a positive balance of VND460 billion; PV Oil had a negative balance of more than VND144 billion...
Regarding the petroleum business, recently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued decisions to revoke the business condition certificates of 5 petroleum distribution enterprises.
The petroleum traders whose licenses were revoked include: Truc Ninh Petroleum Trading Company Limited (Truc Ninh District, Nam Dinh Province); Petrolink Trading and Supply Company Limited (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi City); Duc Hanh Company Limited (Hong Bang District, Hai Phong City); Ngoc Khanh Trading and Transport Services Joint Stock Company (Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province); Minh Phat Petroleum Trading and Transport Company Limited (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City).
Previously, these businesses all sent documents requesting the return of their gasoline distribution licenses.
