On the morning of December 17, SJC Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at 82.6 million VND/tael and the selling price at 85.1 million VND/tael - stable compared to yesterday.
Notably, the selling price is "unmoving" while the buying price has a difference between gold trading units. In particular, commercial banks buy at different prices, such as: Sacombank buys 82.6 million VND, Eximbank 83.1 million VND and ACB buys up to 83.8 million VND/tael of gold bars...
The highest recorded gold bar purchase price was at Mi Hong Company, up to 84.1 million VND/tael.
The price of gold bars purchased in many places is different.
The prices of 24K gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds also fluctuated little. SJC Company traded plain gold rings at VND82.6 million/tael for purchase and VND84.3 million/tael for sale. PNJ Company listed gold rings at VND83.6 million for purchase while VND84.7 million for sale.
At 9:00 a.m. Vietnam time, the world gold price was trading at 2,658 USD/ounce, up 4 USD compared to yesterday.
Gold prices climbed to $2,664/ounce at one point before falling back to $2,649/ounce - the lowest level of the session.
Investors are awaiting information on the US Federal Reserve's policy meeting, scheduled to take place this week. At the same time, Bitcoin continues to hit a historical high and is currently trading above $106,000, causing investors to reduce their focus on gold.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 81.6 million VND/tael.
