Meeting with the Thieu Hoa District Association in Hanoi

On the morning of March 17, the Thieu Hoa District Association in Hanoi held a traditional meeting in 2024. Attending were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lam, former Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Province Association in Hanoi, and leaders of Thieu Hoa District.

Currently, in Hanoi, there are thousands of people from Thieu Hoa living, studying and working. Many have become successful high-ranking officials in Party and State agencies, generals in the armed forces; many are exemplary models in production and business activities. Wherever they are, in whatever field, the people of Thieu Hoa still maintain the tradition of solidarity, attachment, mutual support and always have affection towards their homeland.

Over the years, the Thieu Hoa District Association in Hanoi has truly become a common home, connecting the community of people far from home, exchanging, helping, and sharing among members; organizing activities to visit and encourage members when they are sick or happy; awarding scholarships to Thieu Hoa students with high achievements; wishing longevity to elderly members; and at the same time, having many meaningful and practical activities towards the homeland.

In 2023, the Thieu Hoa District Association supported more than 4 billion VND to build houses for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances in the district; supported the construction of roads; new rural projects, civilized urban areas, education promotion, talent promotion, social security activities in the area...

Comrade Nguyen Van Bien, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Thieu Hoa District People's Council spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Van Bien, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Thieu Hoa District People's Council expressed his appreciation for the sentiments and contributions of the Thieu Hoa District Association in Hanoi for the district in the past time.

He also informed about the outstanding results in the economic and social development of Thieu Hoa district in 2023 and affirmed that these proud changes were achieved thanks to the attention and significant contributions of the children living far from home. He hoped that the children of Thieu Hoa would continue to promote the good qualities of their homeland, actively work, study, and produce; contribute their efforts and intelligence, and accompany the Party Committee, government, and people in the province and district to build their homeland Thieu Hoa in particular and Thanh Hoa province in general to develop more and more.

On this occasion, Thieu Hoa district awarded 30 million VND to the Education Promotion Fund of the Thieu Hoa District Association in Hanoi and awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with many achievements in building the Association and their homeland.
