Graduated with a degree in Food Science, the 23-year-old man refused many job opportunities and volunteered to work.
In mid-February, Ha Tinh turned bitterly cold. In his small house, Mr. Le Manh (born in 1973, Tung Anh commune, Duc Tho district) meticulously folded clothes for his son Le Hao (born in 2002) into a military backpack to prepare for his departure to perform his duty as a People's Public Security Force (CAND).
The 23-year-old man also took the opportunity to help his parents with housework, eagerly and expectantly because in a few days he will leave to fulfill his duty as a People's Police officer.
Hao is the only son, born into a farming family. He graduated from Vinh University with a degree in Geography Education in June 2024. After graduating with a good degree in hand, many job opportunities opened up, but when he learned that the Ministry of Public Security was recruiting citizens to perform the People's Public Security service, Hao quietly researched and expressed his wishes to his relatives before writing a voluntary application to join the army.
Hao graduated from university with honors.
The father expressed: “I feel proud when my son thinks about contributing to his homeland and country. Although Hao is an only child and his family is poor, his parents always encourage him to try hard and complete all assigned tasks when he joins the unit.”
Le Hao shared that after passing the preliminary rounds, the day he received the decision to join the army, Hao was overwhelmed with emotion. Because in Hao's heart, whether standing on the podium or wearing the green military uniform, the young man would devote his youth to the country.
Hao is ready to enter the military learning and training environment.
Talking about the hardships of being a soldier, Hao confided that he had never experienced them. But the new recruit was still optimistic and "determined to adapt, train his will and courage" to become more mature, disciplined, and tough. Hao also firmly believed that he would be tempered with "steel" in a disciplined environment to prepare for a more stable future.
"Participating in the People's Public Security service is the responsibility and pride of every citizen. Wherever I go, I will try my best to complete the assigned work. This is also an opportunity for me to train best, both physically and in a healthy lifestyle. I myself will try to complete the task well and when I have the opportunity, I hope to continue to strive and train in the police industry," Hao expressed.
In the 2025 recruitment season, Ha Tinh Provincial Police were assigned to select 268 citizens to join the People's Public Security service; of which, the Guard Command has 20 soldiers; the Mobile Police Command has 70 soldiers; the Department of Police for Management of Prisons, Compulsory Education Facilities, and Reform Schools has 28 soldiers and the Provincial Police has 150 soldiers.
Of the 268 Ha Tinh citizens recruited for the People's Public Security Forces in 2025, 3 are party members, 3 are university graduates, 11 are college graduates, and 5 are secondary school graduates. Up to this point, all citizens recruited for the People's Public Security Forces have been provided with military equipment, instructed on how to use the People's Public Security uniform, and are ready to wait for orders to depart for duty.
