(Dan Tri) - From the largest city of a million trees in the North to the Blue Zones style land and now the pioneer "retreat forest" in the South, Ecopark is contributing to forming a new lifestyle at Eco Retreat: therapy - recovery - regeneration every day.
22 years and the journey of sustainable real estate development
Based on the development principle that the most livable place is where nature wants to stop, home is where the forest builds a nest, over the past 22 years, the founder of Ecopark has been persistent with the green and sustainable real estate product line.

Reality has proven through happy cities with hundreds of thousands of "rich" houses under the trees. That is the green city Ecopark (Hung Yen) with 1 million trees, along with the largest 4-season park system in the North. This is also the most sustainable urban development in Asia voted by the International Property Awards. Or Eco Central Park - the largest green park in the Central region, at the same time becoming a symbol of green and classy living in Nghe An.

In 2023, the founder of Ecopark will move to the South with the Ecovillage Saigon River project - honored by the organizers of the 2024 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (APA) as "Best Master Plan Urban Area in Asia".

According to the representative of the founder of Ecopark, to build a true ecological urban area requires many factors, including trading off commercial area to prioritize landscape area to green the living space, choosing natural layers intentionally to enhance health benefits for residents while ensuring sustainable ecosystem development.
The urban areas created by Ecopark "have no sleeping lands", because as long as they are not built, all vacant lands become nurseries. In addition to the nursery in the green metropolis Ecopark, the investor currently has nurseries in many provinces and cities across the country so that trees can get used to the soil and easily grow in the new urban areas that the investor plans to create.

Along with trees, Ecopark focuses on creating a vibrant internal water flow. To create a natural flow for the water surface, the lakes in each area are designed with different levels. Thanks to the continuous circulation and rotation, the internal water flows have the ability to self-clean, avoiding the outbreak of algae causing pollution. The method of cleaning the water flow with ecological techniques not only creates aesthetics but also participates in the process of air conditioning, balancing humidity and creating view value for the houses next to the water.
Pioneering in creating retreat real estate in Vietnam with 3 pillars of comprehensive therapy - recovery - regeneration
Eco Retreat is 220 hectares wide (Photo: Ecopark).
2025 marks the next milestone on the journey to the South, Eco Retreat still carries the green gene code but is developed with greater aspirations. A "therapeutic forest" urban area with retreat houses in the retreat community in Vietnam, loved by nature and living "richly" under the forest canopy: rich in health, rich in happiness, rich in positive emotions, ... Houses at Eco Retreat are places to "bathe in the forest" with every step, comprehensive therapy - recovery - regeneration with every breath.

If the green city Ecopark (Hung Yen), 500ha wide, overwhelms with more than 1 million trees, then Eco Retreat will bring beautiful streets into the forest with a scale of 220ha but has more than 4 million trees from 300 different species, creating 8 layers of nature.

Eco Retreat is located in the west of Ho Chi Minh City. The project is 30 minutes away from Bach Dang Wharf (District 1) via Vo Van Kiet Avenue - Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway. At Eco Retreat, 80% of retreat therapies come from nature, 20% are active therapies to supplement such as: mineral baths, meditation, sound baths, spa therapy, nutritional counseling, psychological counseling and daily retreat practices.
With a plan for 80% of the retreat's impact to come from nature, Ecopark's founders dedicated 55% of the area to landscape, 25.5% to infrastructure and only 19.5% to housing.

For the retreat to take place effectively, including therapy - recovery - regeneration, the founder of Ecopark dedicated 50 hectares of the central core area to create 20 interconnected retreat themes, such as: fruit garden, vitamin garden, experience garden, sports garden, creative garden, meditation garden, chess garden, patience garden, etc. The distance from the house at Eco Retreat to the gardens is only 200m, right within sight, suitable for all generations and reminding residents to use comprehensive retreat therapy every day.

The most prominent feature of the retreat circle at Eco Retreat is the 8km therapeutic forest path, 1.5 times longer than the standard therapeutic forest path according to Shinrin-yoku forest bathing therapy. Shinrin-yoku forest bathing therapy is a method of immersing oneself in nature, introduced by the Japanese Government into the national health program in 1982. After that, this method was strongly welcomed in the world. At Eco Retreat, after forest bathing, residents can combine onsen therapy in the Clubhouse area to achieve the best results.
In a 2015 study conducted at Stanford University, researchers found that people who walked in the woods for 90 minutes showed reduced activity in the anterior cingulate cortex (a brain area associated with thinking and depression). In contrast, people who walked in the city did not experience the same benefits.

In the past, houses had to be close to many public service facilities, conveniently connected for children to go to school and parents to go to work. In recent years, houses are chosen because of basic amenities such as hospitals, schools, parks. In the new era, houses are not simply physical spaces within 4 walls, but must be a place that truly connects and nurtures the values that people feel they belong to, with strict conditions: complete family connection; treatment - recovery - regeneration every day to become the best version of yourself.

Within a radius of 10km, future Eco Retreat residents will also benefit from the Tan Kien medical cluster in Binh Chanh district, covering an area of 73 hectares, which has now put into operation phase 1 of over 33 hectares. After completion, the medical cluster (campus) includes: Blood Transfusion - Hematology Hospital, Pham Ngoc Thach Medical University and Hospital, Children's Hospital, Forensic Center, 115 Emergency Center, Trauma Hospital.
This area will be planned and built according to a green healthcare model, with a focus on investment in public service areas, parks, sports fields, and accommodation for patients' relatives.
In 2025, My Yen intersection will be completed, providing convenient connection for Eco Retreat residents to travel to Tan Kien Medical Cluster along the route: Nguyen Huu Tri - Ho Chi Minh City Expressway - Trung Luong - Vo Tran Chi, only 15 minutes drive.
