New look, new spirit

In 2024, PVFCCo's Phu My Fertilizer Plant will mark 20 years since its inauguration and commercial production. Over 20 years of operation, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation - (PVFCCo) has supplied nearly 20 million tons of high-quality urea to the market, making an important contribution to changing the face of rural Vietnam, as well as ensuring national food security and agricultural security.

Also in the past 2 decades, Phu My fertilizer brand has accompanied tens of millions of farmers, attached to many domestic and foreign customers and partners. The product line including Phu My Urea, Phu My NPK... has become a national brand, continuously voted by consumers as "High-quality Vietnamese goods" for many years.

In early December, PVFCCo renewed its name and brand expression - Phu My. The Phu My brand name is expressed and graphically presented in a modern style. The two words Phu My are written together as a unified block, along with the PVFCCo flame logo, becoming the parent brand name of the Corporation. The turquoise color of the parent brand is a combination of two colors: green (of the fertilizer sector) and blue (of the chemical sector), which are also the colors representing the Corporation over the past 20 years.

The highlight of the new brand appearance is the stylized letter Y with a red-orange dot above, representing a tree spreading its branches under the sun and people opening their arms in joyful welcome, expressing the philosophy of taking people - employees, customers, partners, consumers... as the center, with the goal of "Prosperous customers - Prosperous partners - Prosperous Phu My people - Prosperous investors - Prosperous community".

Immediately after its launch, Phu My's new look appeared at the headquarters building, Phu My Fertilizer Plant, member units, product packaging, and at Phu My points of sale and distributors.

According to the representative of the corporation, this is not only a change in image, but also a symbol of the company's constant innovation and creative spirit, affirming the focus on development in the field of fertilizers and chemicals, committed to always creating products and services that meet international standards, bringing prosperity to customers, partners, shareholders and employees.

Strongly reaching new heights

Brand image renewal is one of many activities to "add new motivation, renew old motivation" of PVFCCo in 2024.

Accordingly, in 2024, the Corporation has strived to operate production plants safely and stably, ensuring output and product quality; effectively trading fertilizer and chemical products with efforts to strengthen cost management; increasing market share and applying technology solutions - digital transformation in marketing, sales and customer care; strengthening financial management and risk management to ensure a healthy financial situation and improve the efficiency of using existing assets; accelerating the implementation of new investment projects.

These are considered the "backbone" task groups that help PVFCCo realize sustainable development goals in the coming period.

PVFCCo is also researching and planning to increase investment to expand production and business scale based on the principle of optimal use of infrastructure, resources, integration with the existing Phu My Fertilizer Plant and petrochemical refinery projects of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group - Petrovietnam, mergers and acquisitions... PVFCCo will also increase investment and develop deeply processed products, diversifying from the existing products of the Plant such as hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), DEF...

In addition, there are solutions to strengthen corporate governance, restructuring, increasing the use of clean energy in production and business; focusing on recreating PVFCCo culture, personnel work, training, improving salary and income policies for employees...

With that effort, PVFCCo aims to best complete important planning targets of 2024, and also be honored at many awards such as "Top 50 most effective business companies in Vietnam" in 2024; "Vietnam National Brand" in 2024; "Enterprise for the community"...

Looking forward to 2025, PVFCCo believes that with solidarity and unity in the spirit of "One team - One goal - One firm belief" and the new motivations that the unit has created and will continue to create, PVFCCo will strongly reach new heights.
