(Dan Tri) - An earthquake occurred on the afternoon of November 9 in Thanh Thuy district, Phu Tho province, but many people in Ba Vi, Hanoi also felt the shaking.
According to information from the Institute of Geophysics, at about 4:18 p.m. on November 9, an earthquake of magnitude 3.3 occurred at coordinates 22.226 degrees North latitude, 105.344 degrees East longitude, with a focal depth of about 15.6 km.
The earthquake was determined to have occurred in Thanh Thuy district, Phu Tho province; natural disaster risk level 0.

"The Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center - Institute of Geophysics is continuing to monitor this earthquake," the agency said.
Due to the impact of the earthquake, many people living in Ba Vi district, Hanoi (adjacent to Thanh Thuy district, across the Da River) also felt the shaking and shared information on social networks.
Authorities are continuing to monitor and evaluate to make a final conclusion about this earthquake.
