Emotional celebrations at the finish line of Aqua Warriors Halong Bay 2025

This morning (April 13), the Aqua Warriors Halong Bay 2025 tournament took place with the participation of about 2,000 athletes. The competition of the remaining 4 events, Olympic Triathlon, Full Aqua Warriors, Olympic Aqua Warriors, Sprint Aqua Warriors, was extremely exciting.

Athletes on the beautiful coastal route hugging the shore of Ha Long Bay.

On the track, the athletes showed great determination, encouraged each other, and made every effort to reach the finish line.

When reaching the finish line, many athletes burst into emotion with unique celebrations, from raising their arms high, jumping in the air, to hugging relatives or teammates.

All contribute to creating a vibrant, enthusiastic and emotional atmosphere, creating a special vitality for this year's tournament.

Nguyen Linh Chi was the first athlete to finish in the Sprint Aqua Warriors category for women.

Le Nguyen Trung Do showed great determination in the Olympic Aqua Warriors race, especially making a strong breakthrough in the final meters to excellently finish first and win the men's singles event.

"I flew here from Da Nang. I learned about the competition 4 months ago, so I practiced hard every day with high intensity. Thanks to careful preparation, I had no difficulty coming in first place," Trung Do shared after his victory.

The men's pair won the Full Aqua Relay Warriors event - a relay race consisting of 3km swimming and 15km running. Nguyen Van Sang and Nguyen Hoai Nam teamed up for the first time in this event but easily won the top spot thanks to their professional advantage, one is a swimming coach and the other is a runner.

Le Thi Ha My won first place in the women's singles event at the Olympic Aqua Warriors. She shared: "Last year I only competed in the Sprint Aqua distance, this year I am happy to have surpassed myself even though I did not have much time to practice. If I prepare better, I believe I will improve my performance and try to break the record next year."

Athlete Ngo Thu Ha shouted out loud with emotion after winning the women's singles event Full Aqua Warriors. Thu Ha had to overcome injuries, take painkillers to train, combine swimming and running 4-5 times a week.

"Last year I competed in the Relay event, this year I decided to do bigger. Next year my goal is to try my hand at triathlon," Ha said.

An athlete stumbled right before the finish line, but instead of feeling pain or disappointment, he smiled happily because he had completed the registered event perfectly.

The moment of finishing brought radiant joy to the athletes, many could not hide their emotions, hugging and carrying their children on their shoulders as a way to share the joy of victory.

Athlete Tien Nguyen's grandmother recorded the moment her grandson crossed the finish line, preserving a memorable moment in the family's strenuous competition journey.

After 2 days of exciting competition, the Aqua Warriors Halong Bay 2025 tournament organized by Dan Tri newspaper in collaboration with Bolt Event and the People's Police Sports Association was a great success.

The tournament is not only an opportunity to practice and improve health, but also contributes to spreading sportsmanship and positive energy to the community.

The Aqua Warriors Halong Bay 2025 is an Aquathlon sporting event consisting of two swimming and running events organized by Dan Tri newspaper in collaboration with Bolt Event and the People's Public Security Sports Association in Hon Gai, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, taking place on April 12 - 13.

The tournament has 6 competition distances suitable for all ages, from children to adults. The highlight of the 2025 season is the appearance of a new competition event: Olympic-standard swimming - cycling - running (Triathlon) (1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run).
