According to Gizmochina, smartphone sales of China's leading technology company contributed greatly to its success in the second quarter of 2024 financial fund.
Between April and June, Xiaomi earned 46.5 billion yuan (about $6.5 billion) from smartphone sales. This is a 27% increase compared to the same period last year. Xiaomi shipped 42.2 million smartphones, including models from its sub-brands Redmi and POCO.
Of these, high-end smartphones accounted for 22.1% of total shipments. In the Chinese market alone, the Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 models were very popular. However, these models do not have international versions, so Xiaomi's sales were somewhat limited.
For several consecutive quarters, Xiaomi has remained the world's third-largest smartphone maker behind Apple and Samsung. More and more people are choosing Xiaomi products because of their good configuration, affordable prices, and wide range of choices. The total number of users in the Xiaomi ecosystem is now 676 million, up 11.5% year-on-year.
