On October 9, in the capital of Cuba, La Habana, Thai Binh Company organized the “Towards the Future” trade forum. The forum was attended by about 130 representatives of Cuban state and private enterprises operating in fields such as energy, agriculture, metallurgy, electronics, recycling, electromobility, biotechnology and aviation...
Speaking at the opening of the Forum, President of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce (CCC), Mr. Antonio Carricarte, affirmed that the forum is an important platform to share experiences and explore economic cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and Cuba.
The event took place in the context of Cuba focusing on expanding the sector of micro, small and medium enterprises, and has licensed more than 9,000 of these "new economic units" to operate.
Vietnam's experiences in developing the private economic sector at this time are very valuable and suitable for Cuba's development model.
Mr. Carricarte emphasized that Vietnam is currently Cuba's second largest Asian trading partner and the region's largest investor in the Caribbean island nation.
The CCC Chairman also highlighted the role of Thai Binh, a Vietnamese private enterprise with 25 years of experience investing in the Cuban market, in promoting bilateral trade relations.

The fact that this Vietnamese enterprise has persistently accompanied Cuba for more than two decades despite the volatile and complicated situation demonstrates its commitment and belief in the new opportunities opening up on the Island of Freedom.
At the forum, Head of the representative office of Thai Binh Corporation in Cuba, Mr. Tran Thien Minh, gave an overview of Vietnam's economic development process since Doi Moi in 1986 until now, in which Vietnam has carried out a series of important economic reforms to promote growth and sustainable development, thereby creating a favorable business environment, facilitating the formation and development of small and medium enterprises.

The experiences accumulated during the process of building and developing sustainable Vietnamese enterprises have inspired and provided knowledge to Cuban micro, small and medium enterprises, helping these companies form a comprehensive view and be ready to face similar challenges in their own development process.
Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Thai Binh Corporation, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuan, reaffirmed his commitment to the sustainable development of Cuba; highlighted his determination to continue cooperating with the Government, organizations and businesses of this Caribbean island nation as well as continue to implement more projects, contributing to fostering the strong brotherly relationship between the two countries.
Besides sharing experiences, the forum is also an opportunity for Vietnamese and Cuban businesses to exchange and strengthen cooperation.
