Implementing the direction of the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on assigning the Cultural - Cinema Center of Hoa Binh province to organize the Muong ethnic artisans of Hoa Binh province to participate in activities in the "Spring colors across the country" Festival in 2025 at the Cultural - Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic groups (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi) organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The Cultural - Cinema Center of Hoa Binh province has selected and established the Muong ethnic artisans group of Hoa Binh province with 73 officials and artisans to participate in the activities of the Festival from February 14 to February 16, 2025 (ie January 17, 18, 19 of the lunar calendar). Joining the joyful spring atmosphere of the Festival, the Muong ethnic artisans group of Hoa Binh province is honored to come to the Cultural - Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic groups to introduce to distinguished guests, ethnic people, and tourists from all over the world the unique and distinctive features, cultural features with typical traditional values of the Muong ethnic people of Hoa Binh province.

Within the framework of the activities of "Spring Festival in all regions of the country", many attractive cultural and artistic activities took place. Besides, there were activities reporting achievements of ethnic minorities, along with activities of wishing compatriots a happy new year by Party and State leaders, giving gifts to prestigious people in the community... Besides the program of wishing a happy new year and giving gifts, there were activities recreating traditional rituals and festivals, performing unique heritages of ethnic minorities at the "Common House".
The Hoa Binh delegation participated in the Program at the Opening Ceremony of the Festival with the Gong Team to welcome guests; Performing unique folk songs and dances of the Muong ethnic group; Participating in the New Year greetings and gift giving program. People's Artist Bui Van Minh, on behalf of the Muong ethnic group of Hoa Binh province, presented gifts to the President; Meritorious Artist Bui Van Lung, on behalf of the Muong ethnic group of Hoa Binh province, received gifts from the President.
In particular, the program reenacting the Khai Ha Festival of the Muong ethnic group in Hoa Binh took place in the Muong village space and was honored to welcome the President and leaders of the Party, State, ministries, branches and many visitors from all over the country to attend and left a very good impression. Among the traditional festivals held at the beginning of the new year, the Khai Ha Festival has a particularly important position in the life of the Muong ethnic group, because the purpose of the festival is to pray for a lucky and prosperous new year's harvest, at the same time, performing the seasonal worship rituals is also an opportunity for the Muong people to rest, have fun, entertain and express their wishes for a good, peaceful, prosperous and happy life. The Hoa Binh delegation recreated the Khai Ha ceremony and introduced the Khai Ha festival of the Muong ethnic group in the space of a Muong house (The Khai Ha ceremony held in Luy hamlet, Phong Phu commune, Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province is an important activity during Tet, reflecting a deep belief in the spiritual world).

Along with the outstanding heritages of Hoa Binh province such as Mo Muong, Chieng Muong, Muong ethnic community of Hoa Binh province, Hoa Binh delegation also introduced an intangible cultural heritage of knowledge of Lich Tre of Muong ethnic group of Hoa Binh. This is one of the unique heritages along with the heritage of Mo epic of Muong ethnic group, Muong gong performance art and Keng Long dance of Thai ethnic group, Mai Chau district which has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and included in the list of National Cultural Heritage.
