The members of the monitoring delegation discussed and clarified the results and limitations in environmental protection work of the units; issues related to the classification, collection and treatment of waste generated during operations, especially hazardous solid industrial waste; medical waste, etc.

Through monitoring, both units performed well, paying attention to strictly implementing the law on environmental protection such as: Collecting, storing, transporting and treating solid waste to meet environmental protection requirements; having plans and equipment to prevent and respond to environmental incidents caused by waste, investing and operating waste treatment systems (wastewater, livestock waste) to meet the requirements according to regulations,... The units made recommendations to the Monitoring Team to give opinions to relevant departments and branches to pay attention to allocating capital to renovate and upgrade wastewater treatment systems, degraded waste incinerator systems, old technology; supporting the preparation of dossiers to request environmental licenses due to the lack of officers in charge of the environmental sector.

Concluding the monitoring session, National Assembly delegate Au Thi Mai highly appreciated the achievements of the units in implementing policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 took effect. At the same time, she requested the two units to continue focusing on implementing tasks associated with the implementation of environmental protection goals; promote the application of technology in environmental treatment, and strengthen propaganda for officers and employees of the unit in implementing the Law on Environmental Protection . Tuyen Quang Dairy Farm needs to actively implement water-saving farming processes to increase the ability to collect solid waste and solutions to minimize the spread of unpleasant odors into the environment. For Tuyen Quang Lung Hospital, it is necessary to do a better job of classifying, collecting and treating medical waste in accordance with regulations; assign specialized staff for infection control and regularly train and update specialized knowledge. Based on the opinions of the units, the Supervisory Team will receive and synthesize to report to competent authorities for consideration.
