On February 3, 2023, the delegation of the Global Vietnam National Ancestral Day Project Board led by Professor, Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Project Advisor, came to offer incense to commemorate the Hung Kings at the Hung Temple National Special Historical Relic Site.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Dai Dung and the delegation of the Global Vietnam National Ancestral Day Project Board offered incense at the rear palace.
Receiving the delegation were comrade Ho Dai Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches and units of the province.
At Kinh Thien Palace, on Nghia Linh Mountain, before the spirit of Hung Kings, the delegates expressed their respect and gratitude to the ancestors who built the country. They prayed to their ancestors to bless the country to be more and more prosperous, affirming the country's position in the international arena; and to bless the overseas Vietnamese community to always be healthy, united and rise up to contribute to the growth of the Vietnamese community and the nation.
On behalf of the leaders of Phu Tho province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Dai Dung respectfully thanked the delegation of the Vietnam Global Ancestor Day Project Board for proposing and organizing the Vietnam Global Ancestor Day Program. Thereby contributing to promoting the cultural heritage value of Hung King Worship to Vietnamese people around the world.
He emphasized that Phu Tho province always strives to preserve, promote and widely disseminate two representative intangible cultural heritages of humanity recognized by UNESCO, namely “Hung King Worship in Phu Tho” and “Phu Tho Xoan Singing”. Recently, the organization of Hung King Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival has had many innovations, including propaganda and mobilization of families in the province to prepare ancestor worshiping meal on March 10 so that people can truly become the subjects of religious practice.
He affirmed that Phu Tho province will create all conditions to support the Project Board so that the organization of the Global Vietnamese National Ancestor Day will become more meaningful, contributing to spreading, preserving and promoting the heritage of Hung King worship to overseas Vietnamese and the international community.
The delegation of the Global Vietnam National Day Project Board consists of 43 members who are experts, scientists and overseas Vietnamese from the following countries: Sweden, Turkey, Slovakia, Federal Republic of Germany, Czech Republic, Malaysia and Austria.
The Global Vietnam Ancestral Day Project was initiated in 2015, on an international scale, founded by a number of overseas Vietnamese. The Global Vietnam Ancestral Day Project was born with the mission of connecting overseas Vietnamese and international friends to participate in preserving the representative intangible cultural values of humanity and the Hung Kings Worship Heritage abroad, connecting the strength of national unity. At the same time, it spreads and positions the cultural values and virtues of the Vietnamese people in the respect and honor of the virtues of other peoples and countries around the world.
