Vietnamese Embassy in France commemorates Hung Kings

According to the VNA correspondent in France, on April 27 at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Paris, on the occasion of the Hung Kings' death anniversary (March 10 of the lunar calendar), all staff of the Embassy and Vietnamese representative agencies in France respectfully offered incense to commemorate the Hung Kings, who had contributed to the founding of the country, to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, the Father of the nation, and to express gratitude to the ancestors who had contributed to defending the country.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang read a eulogy in memory of our ancestors, the Hung Kings, who opened the nation's source, established the Van Lang State, and laid the foundation for the nation's eternal development.

Recalling the glorious historical tradition of the nation, and the achievements that the Party, State and people of Vietnam have achieved in the cause of national development, the Ambassador expressed the honor of all staff of the Vietnamese representative agencies in France to contribute practically and effectively to the implementation of the country's foreign affairs tasks. "With a sense of responsibility, dedication, and thorough understanding of the Party and State's direction, the collective of the Vietnamese representative agencies in France always keep in mind to fulfill their tasks well in all aspects, political diplomacy - security - defense, economic diplomacy - trade - investment - science and technology serving development, cultural diplomacy, press and foreign information as well as work with the Vietnamese community in France and work with the concurrently assigned areas", the Ambassador affirmed.

According to Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang, 2023 is a year with many important milestones, the 50th anniversary of the Paris Agreement on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam, a milestone in the glorious history of the nation and Vietnamese diplomacy, the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and 10 years of strategic partnership with France. This is also the year that opens new stages of cooperation, increasingly closer with all bilateral and multilateral partners of Vietnam, UNESCO, OIF, OECD. The collective of representative agencies in France has been competing to achieve many achievements to present to the Party, the State as well as the ancestors of Vietnam. Promoting this spirit, before the heroic spirits of the Hung Kings and Uncle Ho, the Ambassador vowed: "Continuing the Dragon Fairy tradition, promoting the spirit of patriotism, self-reliance and self-strengthening; striving to cultivate virtue, train talent, unite to overcome all difficulties; promoting intelligence and combined strength, uniting the whole group, making efforts and determination, and better performing the tasks assigned by the Party and the State to show gratitude to the ancestors".
