This afternoon (October 19), the Central Propaganda Department's working delegation led by comrade Le Hai Binh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda Department had a working session with the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on propaganda work since the 13th National Party Congress.
Receiving and working with the delegation on the provincial side were comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Vo Thanh Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; comrade Nguyen Minh - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and sectors.
Reporting at the meeting, Comrade Vo Thanh Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department said that since the beginning of the term, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee have paid special attention to leading and directing the Party building work in terms of politics, ideology and ethics with high determination and achieved many positive results. For the first time, based on the specific situation of the locality, the Provincial Party Committee has proactively directed the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to launch a political activity "Keeping the Party member's oath" from February 2 to May 19, 2023 for cadres, civil servants and all party members in the province. The responsibility of setting an example and being a good example for cadres and party members, especially leaders, has been increasingly enhanced.
Along with that, the work of implementing and disseminating the Party's directives and resolutions has been carried out promptly, seriously, with many innovations, creativity, diverse and rich forms, and the rate of Party members participating in the study is high. The whole province has organized the study and dissemination of the Central Resolutions 5 and 6 (term XIII) for over 115,000 cadres and Party members, including more than 73,000 Party members. In addition, the monitoring and grasping of the political and ideological situation, public opinion, consulting and proposing solutions to handle hot spots have been carried out promptly. The work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation has achieved many clear results, especially in fighting and refuting distorted arguments and wrong views on cyberspace. At the working session, representatives of the Provincial People's Committee and a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors further informed the working delegation of the Central Propaganda Department about the contents related to the organizational structure of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; the tasks of orienting information and propaganda work on newspapers and radio; building, planning and training key cadres; teaching, training and fostering political theory for cadres and party members at the Provincial Political School and political centers of districts, towns and cities; propaganda and mobilization work to mobilize ethnic minorities and religious people to well implement the guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and State; coordination regulations between the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, etc.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council affirmed that over the past time, the Party building work in politics in Binh Thuan has been strengthened. The province has concretized the Party's guidelines and resolutions, and the State's legal policies. The Party building work in terms of ideology continues to be focused on; the province has paid attention to directing and orienting information and propaganda in the press about cases of public concern.
