BTO-This morning, January 16, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department held a January 2025 Reporters Conference to provide current information to the team of reporters and grassroots propagandists and to orient propaganda in the coming time. Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department chaired the conference.
Attending at the Binh Thuan bridge point were Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Ngoc Hoa and comrades of the Central Party Committee's reporters working in the province; provincial reporters working in Phan Thiet City; permanent representatives of the Party Committee, leaders of the Propaganda Department, political departments of the Party Committees: Provincial agencies and enterprises, Public Security, Military and Provincial Border Guard...
At the conference, the leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment provided information on the topic: "Overview of the socio-economic situation in 2024; forecast of the situation and plan for socio-economic development in 2025"; the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided information on the topic: "Overview of the world situation, foreign affairs and diplomacy activities of the Party and State in 2024, forecast of the world situation and foreign affairs and diplomacy tasks in 2025; the leaders of the Propaganda Information Center presented a summary of some outstanding results of oral propaganda work in 2024 and the leaders of the Central Propaganda Department awarded Certificates of Merit of the Central Propaganda Department to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in oral propaganda work and reporter activities in 2024.
Regarding the propaganda orientation in the coming time, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy emphasized: In 2025, our country will enter a new era, an era of national growth with many especially important political and historical events such as: The 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025); 50 years of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 80 years of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)... Therefore, the Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested the entire Propaganda sector, the team of reporters and propagandists to promote their proactive and creative roles, and promote oral and reporter propaganda work on the above contents. At the same time, strengthen propaganda about the spirit of urgency and determination in direction and administration from the central to local levels regarding the activities of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus.
Along with that, continue to seriously implement Directive No. 30 dated February 5, 2024 of the 13th Party Central Committee Secretariat on oral propaganda work in the new situation. Well implement the motto of focusing on the grassroots; combine direct and online propaganda; strengthen direct forms for fields, areas, and complex and sensitive issues. Reporters at all levels proactively and regularly monitor, grasp the situation, and orient public opinion. Improve the effectiveness of coordination between oral propaganda and propaganda on media. Propaganda for Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th Party Congress in appropriate and practical forms associated with propaganda to carry out political tasks in 2025.
In January alone, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy requested the team of reporters from the Central to the grassroots level to propagate the efforts of the entire political system to complete and exceed 15 socio-economic development targets in 2024; the organization of the Lunar New Year 2025 joyfully, safely and economically according to the direction of the Secretariat; activities to care for Tet and support the elimination of dilapidated houses for the poor and disadvantaged households in society; the implementation of Decree 168 of the Government on regulations on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of road traffic, etc.
