Specifically, Ms. H. beat the boy HMH (18 months old) while feeding him lunch.
According to Ms. H.'s report, during the feeding process, because baby HMH threatened to vomit many times, Ms. H. admitted to patting the baby's forehead many times to "startle" the baby. But after that, baby HMH still vomited, so Ms. H. said she slapped the baby's cheek with "light force".
The classroom on the day of the incident, the kindergarten teacher used her hand to hit and slap the 18-month-old boy on the head and cheek.
According to the report, Ms. H. continued to slap the child's cheeks and forehead with "light, strong, and moderate force."
Speaking to Thanh Nien Newspaper reporter, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao, mother of baby HMH, said the incident happened on the afternoon of May 17.
After picking up her child and returning to the rented room, Ms. Thao discovered a red bruise on her son's cheek, so she called the kindergarten teacher to ask for information. After a while of talking, Ms. H. admitted to hitting HMH and asked the family to forgive her.
However, Ms. Thao did not agree to ignore it and reported the incident to the school leadership and reported it to the police.
According to the police report dated May 20, Ms. H. hit HMH a total of 31 times.
