Exciting "Ham Rong Half Marathon 2025" race

Towards the 60th anniversary of Ham Rong victory (April 3, 4, 1965 - April 3, 4, 2025), on the morning of March 29, Thanh Hoa City organized the race "Ham Rong Half Marathon 2025 - Historical mark, future footsteps".

The race attracted the participation of 39 delegations, with 654 athletes who are members of running clubs and running groups nationwide.

Representatives of Thanh Hoa City leaders and sponsors presented souvenir flags to units participating in the race.

Athletes compete in 3 running events: 5km, 10km, 21km. In the 5km event, athletes must be 12 years old or older to register. In the 10km and 21km events, athletes must be 16 years old or older to register.

The routes run through scenic spots, Dong Son ancient village, cultural sites, historical and cultural relics in Ham Rong ward.

Right after the opening ceremony, the athletes officially entered the competition. The 21km race for women and men was exciting from the starting line to the final round. By distributing their strength reasonably and using scientific tactics, athlete Le Thi Bich (number 20572) and athlete Bui Dung (number 20504) excelled over their opponents to finish first.

The 5km and 10km races for men and women were equally dramatic and fierce. The competitions between the athletes were quite exciting.

As a result, in the 5km category for women and men, athlete Le Thi Lan (number 50072) and athlete Le Van Binh (number 50080) excellently finished first.

In the 10km women's and men's categories, athlete Trinh Yen Linh (number 10323) and athlete Mai Nhat Thuy (number 10329) excellently finished first.

Based on individual and team achievements in the 5km, 10km, 21km categories for men and women, the Organizing Committee scored and determined the overall team achievement. As a result, Bo Ve Park International Running Center won the first overall team prize; Hau Loc Runners Club won the second overall team prize; Hoi An Bac Runners Club won the third overall team prize.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the athletes who finished first in all three categories of 5km, 10km, and 21km; and awarded first, second, and third prizes to the teams with outstanding achievements.
