Currently, the male artist is being treated with ECMO (artificial heart-lung).

"Currently, my father is awake and conscious, the family is very happy. The doctors are still monitoring him and said that his health condition is showing positive signs. He is in the intensive care unit of Cho Ray Hospital. Family members are always on hand to take care of him," said the son of People's Artist Thanh Tuan.

The representative of the family of People's Artist Thanh Tuan also expressed gratitude for everyone's concern, encouragement and prayers for the veteran cai luong artist in recent days. In addition, Mr. Tam said that the family of artist Thanh Tuan has not made any appeal for support, so everyone should be careful not to let bad people take advantage of them.

Previously, on the afternoon of March 25, artist Thanh Tuan suddenly suffered a heart attack, and his family immediately took him to Cho Ray Hospital for emergency treatment. Shortly after being admitted to the hospital, he fell into a coma, so doctors transferred him to the intensive care unit for intensive monitoring. Upon hearing the news that People's Artist Thanh Tuan was hospitalized, many artists and audiences were worried and prayed, hoping that he would overcome the critical stage.

Artist Thanh Tuan was born in 1948, real name Nguyen Thanh Liem, born and raised in Quang Ngai. He is a famous cai luong artist, at the same time as Minh Vuong, Le Thuy, My Chau, Minh Canh. The male artist made an impression with many works such as Nguoi cau bong trang, Khoi song tieu tuong, Duong kiem Nguyen Ba, Tay Thi, Nguoi tinh tren chien tran, Xuan nay con khong ve, Nho Nha Trang, Chuyen xe Tay Ninh, Dong song que em ... He was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in 2007 and the title of People's Artist in 2019.
